Precious Jesus

"Afresh, precious, precious Jesus, I resign this body to You, for doing or suffering, for living or dying. Will You accept it? Will You use me for Your glory more than heretofore, that You may have some little return for all the benefits You have done to me? Oh, do grant this request; my heart longs for it, my spirit pleads for it; and "if You will, You can." You know the hot temptation of which I am the subject. Bring Your glory out of it, and keep me from the evil, and it shall be well." - Ruth Bryan

Pulpit and Pen covers up Johnny Mac's deception...*This blog does NOT endorse beginning of sorrows and its blog owner*

It was recently announced that Grace Community Church, headed by the ever Diotrephetic John MacArthur, was slated to host The Gospel Coalition’s West Coast Conference “Enduring Faithfulness” this October. This posed quite the dilemma for popular polemics blog Pulpit & Pen (hereafter referred to as P&P), as they have been outspoken critics of The Gospel Coalition and its unbilblical nature, but have unwaveringly supported John MacArthur in all of his Pharisaical folly by negligence, disregard, and willful blindness. One erroneous stipulation manufactured by the “Hardy boys” at P&P to justify error, was that MacArthur was not hosting conferences with these people at “his church,” despite the fact that he partnered with them elsewhere. This was the last thread of imagined justification they were clinging to and when news broke that MacArthur was hosting The Gospel Coalition (hereafter referred to as TGC) in his own house, as it were, they were in a bit of a predicament. You see, JD Hall of P&P believes that MacArthur will be taken home in, “a fiery chariot.” (he actually said this). He also believes that MacArthur is “venerable…. great… really awesome,” according to his most recent Polemics Report podcast . Given his infatuation with MacArthur and apparent disdain for The Gospel Coalition, it comes as no surprise that he was faced with quite the dilemma, as rebuking MacArthur is simply not an option for him or his underlings.

There seems to be no end to the lengths people will go to defend their favorite idol/man. As for JD Hall and his band of religious twits @ P & P their words are meaningless in the fight before real believers and do more to hinder and bring down to the depths of hell (where they reside) those that earnestly serve the Lord Jesus Christ. JDH is right about one thing, JM will no doubt be carried home on some sort of "fiery chariot" but his final resting place will be in hell unless he is granted repentance which is likely 'off the table' since his beliefs and words about the Blood of Christ are blasphemous to the core not just of the Father and the Lord Jesus but specifically of the Holy Spirit. If such is the case (I am increasingly convinced that it is) that MacArthur has committed the unpardonable sin of blaspheme against the Holy Spirit his fate was sealed before the foundation of the earth.

This is the exact same thing we saw a few months ago when McClarty defended BG. Heretics and their followers have no defense. JDH may as well scream for two hours or more "Great is MacArthur of Sun Valley" just like his idol worshipping predecessors in Ephesus did some 2000 years ago "Great is Diana of the Ephesians." The sin is the same, only the name of the idol has changed from Diana to MacArthur.

Amen Darrel, well said. These idol loving men pleasers are sickening.

I have recently been listening to the videos as they are produced by "beginning of sorrows" or "servus Christi" calling out PJ, TF, JP and JDH as hypocrites for not rebuking JM (and recently PW) for their affiliations with TGC members and false teachers, and for participating in conferences alongside them, thus approving of them. These men who have discernment ministries have no wiggle room nor defense for their refusal to publicly expose the heretical connections intertwined among JM and his associates. Too much is at stake for such a, status, notoriety, audiences, invitations, blah, blah, blah. So instead, they construct a fallible defense. Its easy to point the finger at the obvious heretics - Joel Osteen, Joyce Meyer, Bill Johnson, Benny Hinn, Kenneth Copeland, Jessee Duplantis, Creflo Dollar, etc. - one could spend a lifetime discussing their obviously ridiculous doctrines. But the standard for JM's false teachings and affiliations is silence. He will not be questioned, critiqued or rebuked by his fellow associates.

The assessment made on the videos concerning the great hypocrisy and protection involved is correct. The man is only doing what these 'discerners' will not and is telling the truth according to scripture, and is being ridiculed and falsely attacked by them. But he continues to take a stand on the word of God and courageously exposes what the weaklings will not. And he exposes their hypocrisy, double standard and cowardice with their own words. If they were wise, they would admit it and repent. But I'm not holding my breath, lest I pass out.

These powerful untouchable heavy hitters are all very closely knit -

They have each other's back, they also have a huge fan base of illiterate 'Christians', and I use that term very loosely, who defend them. Their rock star status elevates them to heights similar to that of Satan, 'I will be like the most High'.
In this piece - - you can see the connections of these heavy hitters. They are well funded and sponsored by various churches and organizations, such as Lifeway. Deception is very subtle and very powerful; many will outright reject Islam, JW, etc, but they readily embrace these men who Satan is using to infiltrate Christendom and bring about acceptance and ecumenism. The 'touch not God's anointed' mentality is very, very telling.
Looking at this - - I see them uniting together again this year. Taking note of men like CJ Mahaney, who came out unscathed from a sex abuse scandal, with NO separation and NO repentance. There was a LOT of cover up and looking the other way by his 'colleagues'.
When I clicked on the 'view all speakers', I saw a long list of men, all of whom I wouldn't give the time of day to. I took special note of one name - Sam Allberry - the homosexual editor of TGC. Again, his sin is overlooked by ALL who willfully choose to have their names listed with his.

This is why I praise the Lord I am NOT caught up in organized religion - it is a farce and of the devil.

Interesting load of bilge water at t4g. Same old clap trap, same old men, same old meaningless smooth words, same old lies, same old mockery of the Lord Jesus. Guilt by association is bad enough for all those that are participating and furthering the lie, but each of these men is a heretic in his own right with many errant beliefs and practices to which they are never held accountable. And the "church" loves to have it so. They will NEVER call out their 'buds' so don't look for it. Thank God He is in control, even of these wicked men.

Yes, Darrel, meaningless smooth words from these self-appointed "leaders" on the t4g website under "2018 Theme." There is no "theme" to preaching the gospel in any year. The word of God is preached from scripture and remains constant, not adjusting itself to fit social change in any year. The gospel doesn't change and its a grandiose delusion for these men to think living in these "perilous times" of the "reprobate minds" of Romans 1 that they can "make a difference in the culture" as their "theme" states. That resembles NAR doctrine. "Renouncing the world for the sake of the world," they say. Oh really? So they have firmly renounced homosexuality and called for repentance? No, their actions reflect the politically correct view of being loving and soft-spoken and sympathetic and inclusive. "Rejecting sin," they say. Well, it can be proved by their own words that they are coddling the sinners in their sin. "The gospel distinctness of our churches should shine," they say. Well, these men are guilty of covering up the light with feigned words, which lay no claim to "gospel distinctness." These men would be unknown and unpopular if their message consisted of uncompromising "gospel distinctness."

When will they ever learn that a preacher's audience consists of the redeemed of Christ, not the culture? God will save whom He will out of the culture, but men have not the power to transform goats into sheep by mimicking secular methods. Goats will not feed on sheep food, but preachers starve the sheep and feed poison to goats to increase their numbers, popularity and incomes.

Christ told Peter to 'feed my sheep'. There are very few today who get that.
