Precious Jesus

"Afresh, precious, precious Jesus, I resign this body to You, for doing or suffering, for living or dying. Will You accept it? Will You use me for Your glory more than heretofore, that You may have some little return for all the benefits You have done to me? Oh, do grant this request; my heart longs for it, my spirit pleads for it; and "if You will, You can." You know the hot temptation of which I am the subject. Bring Your glory out of it, and keep me from the evil, and it shall be well." - Ruth Bryan

the 'god' of the 'churches'

Alas, that in our day, the true nature of God is so little perceived, even by the majority of those who profess to be His people. So little does the modern pulpit set forth the perfections of Deity; yes, so wretchedly is He caricatured, that He has good reason to say of those in the churches, "You thought that I was altogether like you!" (Psalm 50:21). God is portrayed as feeble, fickle, compromising; unable to accomplish His purpose; swayed by the events of time; and indifferent to sin. It is not, too much to say, that the God of Scripture is "THE UNKNOWN GOD" (Acts 17:23) of modern Christendom! The "god" of the "churches" possesses scarcely any of the attributes of the living God—but is instead, a disgusting figment of their own perverted imagination and corrupt sentiments!

Only when an individual understands God's doctrine of election does the true nature of God come into focus. Otherwise, He is perceived of being "unable to accomplish His purpose" of "not willing that any should perish" (2 Peter 3:9) because their false doctrine of 'free will' misinterprets the scripture that is referring to the elect. God is perceived as "indifferent to sin" since 'God loves everybody.' They don't preach the true God - they can't preach "the unknown God" whom they do not know.

Most church buildings are danger zones to enter for they have been infiltrated by "angels of light" preparing and deceiving for the coming one world religion.

Exactly, and that understanding comes from the new birth. Without being born from above by God, NO SINNER will comprehend truth. Putting your own spin on God's word is a sin, but that's exactly what most do. They interpret the bible through human wisdom and understanding, thus, we have a vast multitude of 'goats' running around saying 'God loves you and has a wonderful plan for your life!' I truly believe this is the strong delusion sent by God because they refuse to believe their 'free will' is tainted by sin and cannot save them. They reject grace in favor of man's ability to save himself, this dreadful soul damning heresy is more rampant now than ever before.

Another problem is so many professing Christians simply embrace free will, even if they disagree. There's no stance or opposition against it, as though there are multiple ways God saves sinners. This is a form of ecumenism, and it is a key component in building the one world church --- and it's working!

Praise God He has given us true truth, all by His grace and mercy, all because we have truly been born from above.

I have seen the libraries of supposedly learned men with pastoral status, shelves filled with mostly worthless dribble by authors who pretend to speak for God, but do not know Him, nor are they known by Him. "Christian" book stores are even worse as every "Tom, Dick, and Harriet" hawk their wares on the unlearned, ignorant, blinded and unsaved worshippers of who knows what. The vast majority of current "Christian" authors (99%+++) fall into the same category: unlearned, ignorant, blind, and unsaved. Many in their pride will claim that they were "inspired" to write their material by God Himself, but their own words on paper betray this notion. These are the people who cannot perceive the true nature of God, who are clueless when it comes to His Holiness, Sovereignty, Love, and the host of His Eternal Attributes. In their rebellion they have substituted the attributes of their idol (themselves) and constructed a god of their own likeness and liking. In Pure Justice, God gives them over to their desires, their idols, their true love, themselves. This is seen throughout the Word, in OT Israel (Acts 7:41 & 42) and right up to today where arrogant men refuse to bow before God, repent and believe the Gospel. Such are void of any knowledge of God beyond the fact that He is Creator (Rom. 1:20-22); a fact they have long ago rejected and dance around even today in their arrogance.

Pink's assessment of the state of the church from 72 years ago is not just still valid today, but hopefully somewhat of a wake up call to those born again: seek to know Him, Who He is. Matt. 5:6 and James 1:5 are excellent guides to this end.

Christian book stores would go out of business if truth occupied their shelves. Heretical authors keep them in business with their herds of idols clamoring to purchase their latest 'revelations' and soaking up their words like a sponge. Now the mantra is that they received a "download" from heaven. Funny how only the popular teachers receive 'downloads' from God, equating themselves to God's prophets, while the rest of us have to rely on scripture. They are a bunch of scoundrels.
