Precious Jesus

"Afresh, precious, precious Jesus, I resign this body to You, for doing or suffering, for living or dying. Will You accept it? Will You use me for Your glory more than heretofore, that You may have some little return for all the benefits You have done to me? Oh, do grant this request; my heart longs for it, my spirit pleads for it; and "if You will, You can." You know the hot temptation of which I am the subject. Bring Your glory out of it, and keep me from the evil, and it shall be well." - Ruth Bryan

They are not all Israel

This is a clear teaching on who 'Israel' is. I've heard too many spiritualize critical passages like those found in Romans  - Jim brings clarity...

Most helpful.
There are many who say that the Church=Israel=the Church and use Romans nine to "prove" their point. In the end, the only thing they have proven is their rebellion against the Lord and His Word. These same folk end up steeped in dominionism, a-mill/no rapture types whose goal is their own glorification and never that of the Father or His Son. They will also claim that all the prophesies concerning Israel have been fulfilled---no exceptions. As I read through Isaiah I have found no less then 14 unfulfilled prophesies concerning Israel (through chapter 37) and no doubt there are more to be found from here to it's end. As with all blasphemers, they claim superior intellect, access to knowledge hidden from the ignorant masses, interpretive skills that surpass their underlings, and leadership status of the 'absolutely necessary' variety. The bottom line of these people is praise from their peers and never a bended knee or humbled heart before their Creator.
Lord, please open our eyes every day, every hour.

I am looking forward to the next video from Jim on this subject. I see amil folk all over the internet spiritualizing the bible! I don't waste time hearing them out because it only adds to the confusion that's already out there because of mindsets like that.

Great prayer Darrel, yes Lord, please open our eyes daily, hourly...amen
