I read this article, which is quite good, concerning the pressures young girls face from our sexually saturated society. It doesn't help that the entertainment industry exploits women like a sex trafficking operation would do. Nor does it help when we have 'idols' like Beyonce get up on stage during a half-time show ,dress like a slut, and dance like one as well { "Like a gold ring in a pig's snout is a beautiful woman without discretion"}; and to have the first lady of the President of the United States claim she is proud of Beyonce. We have a huge responsibility to raise our children with biblical morals and values; society will fight us every step of the way. There is a battle for our children.
Here is the article for all mothers as well as fathers to read...
One of the sadder news accounts I've read recently is this piece from the UK Telegraph. In a nutshell: Thirteen-year-old Chevonea Kendall-Bryan had been pressured into performing a sex act on a boy at school. He recorded their encounter on his
Obviously, there's plenty of blame to go around: The culture, technology, the absence of shared moral values, etc., etc., etc. But it's more fruitful to talk about solutions -- and they start with women being brave enough to be honest with young girls.

Excellent article. Thanks for directing us to it. We've got our work cut out for sure. Only the power of the gospel can prevail against this kind of onslaught.
Everything the author stated is true right up to her remedy for this mess being in the hands of the women and mothers. If there were no "market" for such behavior the behavior would fade off into the sunset. But since this world and especially America is filled with out of control, sex-crazed, and obsessed men who feed on and demand such "performances" it will likely continue and worsen. The blame for such behavior is laid squarely at the feet of the men who have abrogated their responsibility to their families (especially their daughters) their community and their nation. This is all part of the debased mind that Paul spoke of in Romans 1. This entire nation swims in the cesspool of soft-porn daily whether billboards or TV or movies or internet ads, etc. It's hard to have your eyes open for more than five minutes and not be hit with some filth-whatever the source.
Guys, it's time to man-up!!!
You are welcome sister, and you are correct in what the solution is to this huge problem. We must teach our children truth, we must teach our sons that women are not sex objects put here for their lustful enjoyment; they are to be loved and treated with respect. Likewise, we must teach our daughters that saving themselves for that special man in marriage is special, and honorable. I have heard numerous stories of sexual activity going on in the public schools, I wonder how they get by with it since most schools have cameras everywhere. The scary part is young boys and girls engaging in illicit acts with little remorse.
Darrel, it seems we are now a society of dogs in heat. You are correct in stating we are continually being hit with filth. It is a shame that young boys aren't taught by their fathers how to respect women. There is a young couple living together next door to me, they have 3 boys ranging from 5 to 9 years of age. They have all made suggestive filthy comments about girls, including my daughter. I confronted the mother and she blamed the boyfriend. It was an opportunity to share the Gospel of Christ with her; my heart was breaking as I heard her tell me of her childhood and being raised by a drunken mother. She started crying as she told me her life story, which reminded me somewhat of my own. Anyway, to get back on topic, this young couple is an example of poor parenting skills, which is a huge problem in our society. We must pray for God's mercy and His truth to pierce the hearts of sinners...
