Thanks for posting these sermons from the G3C-didn't know it was happening, but plan to listen to all. It is deeply disturbing to me-to the point of growing anger-to watch those who name the Name of Christ and yet divert people away from Christ in order to promote themselves and their agenda, whatever form that takes. This is a growing problem in reformed circles and especially on the net where one's ego reigns supreme, elevated beyond srutiny and above question. Though these words from brother Paul are not new (nor do they need to be) it is always good to be reminded of the truth of the Gospel. May we stay rooted in our First Love, always abounding in the work of the Lord.
Darrel, I wasn't aware of it either and stumbled upon it quite by accident. I spent all of yesterday listening to the sermons I've posted- what a blessing. The one on Calvin gave me insight into this man's ministry: he is so often attacked and ridiculed. He made mistakes, yes - we all do. BUT, his theology on salvation and Christ was biblical and rock solid. I know exactly what you mean concerning the egos of many in the reformed circles. This is why I no longer visit certain blogs on the internet, some seemed to have attained such a high 'status' in the realm of Christianity they aren't teachable and have attained all knowledge! They are in need of grace, mercy, and a humbling by God. This conference is winding down as we speak, Paul Washer is preaching again on prayer. I will post when the live stream is finished.
