Precious Jesus

"Afresh, precious, precious Jesus, I resign this body to You, for doing or suffering, for living or dying. Will You accept it? Will You use me for Your glory more than heretofore, that You may have some little return for all the benefits You have done to me? Oh, do grant this request; my heart longs for it, my spirit pleads for it; and "if You will, You can." You know the hot temptation of which I am the subject. Bring Your glory out of it, and keep me from the evil, and it shall be well." - Ruth Bryan

What a God we serve! His mom went to war for him, prayed and prayed and prayed. Thank you for posting this.

Your brother in Christ,

John

Hey brother John,

This is an amazing testimony to the grace and power of a merciful God; it proves we do not simply 'choose' Jesus, as is so prevalent in our society. This dear brother said he threw away bibles and cards with scriptures on them. Why? Because we all love our sins until our merciful God draws us to His Son. I give God a HUGE 'HALLELUJAH' for saving this sinner and pray for others still in darkness and bondage to sin, whatever sins they choose to indulge in.

I know the agony of praying over a lost son, I do it daily. I keep hoping in and trusting God for the salvation of my own son, and the young girl I am raising from my own sinful encounter.

Blessings to you and your wife brother

Lyn

I cried the whole time. What an awesome testimony. I absolutely love the grace and mercy and kindness of his mother.

My mother was very gentle and kind.

He's absolutely correct about the kindness of God that leads us to repentance-Romans 2:4.

No condemnation NONE when God reached down to me..

Thanks lyn that was a huge encouragement and blessing to never ever give up HOPE for those we love who are lost

Wasn't that amazing? I wish I could be more like this mother to my own son and to Hayden. I do pray daily for the salvation of Tony and Hayden, as well as my entire family, I have done this for the past nine years and will continue to do so until I have no breath in my lungs.

This testimony caused me to shout out 'hallelujah!' as I watched, what an amazing God we serve.

You are right sister, we never give up hope even when it seems there is no hope...all things are possible with God - amen?

AMEN!!!
