A True Worship Service

When we talk about corporate worship, there are a lot of opinions about what a true worship service is, what it looks, sounds, and feels like, and so on. What does the Bible say, what is God’s plan for our worship? What causes real worship, worship that is both truly heartfelt and truly holy? This text gives us a glimpse into glory, and in this panorama we will see many of the principles we need to faithfully follow if we are going to worship in spirit and in truth. Let’s look at this mighty text and revel in the majesty, the awe, and the wonder of this worship together.
Remember the book of Revelation is the Revelation of Jesus Christ. Revelation 1-3 shows the struggling saints, and Revelation 6-20 shows the unfolding of the end times, with the judgment of the earth, the justice of God, and the joy the saints. Revelation 4-5 presents a scene of eternal love, perfect peace, and ultimate joy, which always exists in God’s presence. Revelation 4-5 transports us into the Worship Center of the Universe. Corporate Worship is important to God and Revelation 4-5 gives us a taste of heaven, and several marks of a God-centered service. Notice that this worship is based in worth-ship....
