A Defense of Calvinism

T IS A GREAT THING to begin the Christian life by believing good solid doctrine. Some people have received twenty different "gospels" in as many years; how many more they will accept before they get to their journey's end, it would be difficult to predict. I thank God that He early taught me the gospel, and I have been so perfectly satisfied with it, that I do not want to know any other...

Hey Katy,

Good to hear from you; I recognized you from DefCon!

We are not going to be effective for Christ if we can't even get the Gospel right, all this decisionism/salvation by works is producing goats who think they are saved because of something they've done; they do not understand the doctrines of grace because these essential truths are not being preached...to the shame of those who call themselves pastors who are really nothing more than men-pleasers.
