Separating from Unbelievers

I believe this is essential for our day...

I always enjoy listening to John MacArthur. He's ironclad with the truth.

The world is getting into Christians instead of the word.

My serious concern is for believers who have been staunch in their stance with certain other "Christians" who have gone astray and began teaching false teachings.

There are many for example who love John Piper or Beth Moore. It's very upsetting to see that many just cannot or will not break free from them.

the bible clearly teaches:

1Cr 5:11-12 "But now I am writing you that you must not associate with anyone who calls himself a brother but is sexually immoral or greedy, an idolater or a slanderer, a drunkard or a swindler. With such a man do not even eat. 12 What business is it of mine to judge those outside the church? Are you not to judge those inside?

& Romans 16:17 "I urge you, brothers, to watch out for those who cause divisions and put obstacles in your way that are contrary to the teaching you have learned. Keep away from them. 18For such people are not serving our Lord Christ, but their own appetites. By smooth talk and flattery they deceive the minds of naive people.---In other words don't unite in love with them if they deny SOUND doctrine. Somebody who denies the clear teaching of doctrinal truth it's CLEAR separate from them~~~

Anyways not only should we separate from unbelievers but also a brother or sister should be treated as such as well until he/she repents.

blessings in Christ Lyn,

John Piper's endorsing Beth Moore and the unbiblical practice of lectio divina {check out christianresearchnetwork.com} is a terrible shame. How he has fallen, may the Lord be merciful to him.

I am thankful to God for John MacArthur and his solid biblical teaching, there aren't many out there who will stand firm on the truth.

bless you sister, love you as Christ loves

yes I read on the Sola Sisters blog and commented and even before that I read it on Do Not Be Surprised blog. That's where I found out the first time

Lyn, I even read an article Ken Silva gave me that really sets my stomach queasy with Beth Moore. I don't know her heart but by golly her endorsement to espouse the RCC makes me mighty suspicious of her.

Thanks Lyn

How much longer will it be before we come under persecution because we stand outside this melting pot called Christianity? My hunch is not long...
