I've prayed like that--(not the sleeping in my closet with an alarm clock)lol. I've had that deep longing and desire to know GOD in ways that I've never known him before and that deep desire for the family of God immediate people in my life to know Him. I've REALLY prayed that God would grant me the wonderful privilege and honer to be used by him in people's lives but I just don't see much.
What I do see is me being changed more than the other person and then when I do move or act upon brought about opportunities I believe God provides, then I see people responding accordingly. My hearts desire is to line up with God's.....
I love Paul Washer and he is "right on" in how he doesn't want anything but to know God
